Since 1994, My Advanced Air has been assembling a team of exceptional professionals capable of servicing Southern Oregon’s diverse heating and cooling needs. 20 years ago, the Company was founded by two industry professionals, Scott Friesen and Scott Rosendahl. Today, Advanced Air is made up of more than 40 dedicated professionals, consisting of 6 departments: Installation, Service & Repair, Engineering, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, and Management. Advanced Air has garnered the reputation as being Southern Oregon’s leader in heating, air conditioning, and geothermal technology.
My Advanced Air is active in the Southern Oregon Community, frequently volunteering time and resources to nonprofit organizations such as Hearts with a Mission, Helping Hands International, The Dove, True North Navigators, and local clubs, athletic teams, schools, and churches.
Well acquainted with Medford and the surrounding area, the Friesen family has a heritage steeped in Rogue Valley culture and history. As the son of Al and Deana Friesen, Scott was born and raised in the cradle of Southern Oregon. Upon completion of the South Central Oregon Sheet Metal JATC apprenticeship, and after working 8 years at a local sheet metal shop, he and Scott Rosendahl founded Advanced Air & Metal, Inc.
In 1988, Scott married Keri and together they have raised their two children into young adults. Scott enjoys cruising his Harley on the back roads of the northwest while listening to 80’s hair metal, scuba diving in tropical places, salmon fishing on the Rogue River, and backpacking into wilderness areas with his son. Scott is an avid football fan of the Oregon Ducks. Every spring, he and his family, and a large group of friends meet at Stewart State Park for campfire stories and fishing at Lost Creek Lake.
Scott is inspired to help others; whether devoting time to his family, designing complex air systems, or taking mission trips to Central America, he is motivated to serve others.
Randal has been a key member of the Advanced Air family since 2012 and is the Chief Operations Officer. He brings more than 20 years of business management and construction related experience to the team.
As an Oregon native, father of five young children, and husband to an academic improvement specialist, Randal finds immense joy in life’s greatest treasures: spending time with family, reading old books, learning new things, traveling to strange places, listening to people’s stories, contemplating art and design, and hiking in wilderness areas.
Rhonda is one of our key team members here at Advanced Air. She makes sure we’re organized and ready to serve at our best!
Dan provides strategic and operational leadership for our distribution site. He makes sure you get what you need when you need it!
Josh coordinates our residential installations to make sure we’re on site to help get you back to comfort as soon as possible.
Dan is one to make sure new residential construction projects have the comfort you deserve.
Steven is our lead in Engineer here at Advanced Air. So if you have questions about our equipment, he’s the one to ask.
Stacy was born in Medford, Oregon and has lived in the Rogue Valley for her entire life. She has worked at Advanced Air since 2007 and is married to their handsome, ace service technician, Raymond Hughes; together they have raised 5 children. As a family, they enjoy camping and hiking around Union Creek.
Stacy’s favorite books are The Power of Now and The Tao of Pooh; her favorite film is tearjerker, The Notebook. She has an eclectic taste in music with The Beatles, Bob Marley, and Jack Johnson among her favorite musicians. Stacy loves the Rogue Valley for it’s natural beauty and killer selection of local beer and wine.
“The Scotts” actively work with their highly trained and qualified associates to provide clients with the latest technology and the highest quality heating and air conditioning equipment available. What began as a small company, servicing the residential market, has blossomed into a large-scale corporation that also takes on multi-million dollar design-build commercial projects.
In the last 20 years, My Advanced Air has installed over 8,000 heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and geothermal systems. Most of these projects were generated by referrals from satisfied customers who spoke to their friends and neighbors about My Advanced Air. My Advanced Air credits their success, and subsequent growth, to the quality and tenure of their valued employees.
Today, My Advanced Air provides intelligent indoor heating and cooling solutions for the greater Rogue Valley area. Services include system diagnostics, repair and maintenance of equipment, free estimates on system replacement, and design-build and installation of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. Whether powered by electric, natural gas, or dual fuel, My Advanced Air specializes in heat pumps, furnaces, and air conditioners that cultivate a lifestyle of comfort. The company is certified as a factory authorized installer of Daikin ductless mini-split heat pumps, Water-furnace geothermal systems, and Bryant heating and cooling equipment.
